Professional Involvement in Louisiana Law

Collin currently serves as a board member for the Louisiana State Bar Association YLD as the New Orleans, Louisiana representative.  Collin has been appointed by the Louisiana State Bar Association to a three-year term on the Louisiana Supreme Court Judicial Council as the Louisiana State Bar Association YLD Representative.  Collin also serves on the LSBA Professionalism Committee.  

Education and Early Career of a Louisiana Injury Lawyer

Collin received his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and first in his class in the Louisiana Civil Law Division. Upon graduation, Collin received Loyola Law School’s highest award to a graduating law student, the Spirit of St. Ignatius Award. During his time at Loyola:

• He was Executive Editor and board member of Loyola Law Review for two years.
• Participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition, competing in Vienna, Austria.
• Served as the Chief Justice of Loyola’s Honor Board.

Before practicing law, Collin served as a commissioned sheriff’s deputy in East Baton Rouge Parish, where he was assigned to the uniform patrol division. He also holds a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Political Science from Louisiana State University.

Attorney Personal Interests

When Collin is not practicing law, he enjoys LSU football, the New Orleans Saints, duck hunting, and traveling to new places to hike and experience different cultures.  Collin also enjoys spending time in his neighborhood of Lakeview, New Orleans, and supporting local businesses in the area.
